Prospective Students

      As the current President of the Hispanic Law Society (HLS), I would like to encourage you to apply to Michigan State University College of Law. HLS is an academic and social student organization dedicated to serving the Hispanic/Latino community at MSU College of Law. HLS is one of the most active student groups in the law school, organizing a variety of academic and social events throughout the year.

     MSU College of Law's large and diverse student body is one of its most important resources. There are ample opportunities to find peers with similar interests. Throughout the year, HLS hosts dinners, an annual golf outing to socialize and network, panels, and social outings to provide students with an opportunity to get to know one another outside of the law school setting.  We are always looking for new ideas for social events, so let us know if you have any suggestions!

    We are very luck at Michigan State to have a welcoming student body, faculty, and a very supportive administration.  The school is continually expanding the academic opportunities and we are looking forward to the opening of our new Immigration Clinic this coming Fall as well as a partnership with the Universidad Sergio-Arboleda School of Law in Colombia.  

   HLS is one of over forty student organizations present at MSU.  Given the number of activities and opportunities available, I believe our College of Law provides a rich and rewarding experience for Hispanic students.
